This apron is beautiful, I want to start right here, from the fabric used to make it.

It is a heavy, coarsely woven fabric.
It's not for everyone, it needs to be understood and appreciated.
A rustic, rough fabric, who appears to be a grumpy person on the surface, but once you get to know her well, you never leave her, because she has a heart of gold.

The cloth from which the apron was made was woven on a loom over a century ago and is made up of panels sewn together by hand, seams that can be seen in the skirt.
These precious details and small irregularities in the texture and color are signs of time and testify to its past history, making it beautiful.
When I washed it it softened incredibly and became even more beautiful and will soften further with use and washing, evening out the color.

The detail that makes it even more special are the two delightful embroidered numbers in cream and pink in a delightful cursive font, BF, enriched with flowers and buds.

The model is typical of Cecibirbona: it features a bodice to which a rich gathered skirt is attached; the front and back are tied with two side bows.
It is worn from above in a very practical way, even without untying the side bows each time, or you can tie the bow at the back or front and make it more close to the body.
It has two comfortable and roomy pockets.

The fit is loose and comfortable, so it can be worn over skirts and trousers, but is at the same time very graceful.

An apron that can be used at home, but even more so in the garden, because its heaviness makes it perfect for protecting you during heavy work, or even for working in a flower shop or in a delicatessen.

One of a kind.

The fabric is made of linen and hemp, an ancient fabric of over a hundred years. Small imperfections and small stains testify to the age of this fabric and speak of its past.

Hand wash or machine wash at 30 degrees on delicate cycle. Do not spin.

One size fits all. You see it worn by me who is 1.64 m tall.
