I really like this apron because it shows how even a simple material can be transformed into something special if used with good taste.

I found the fabric I used to sew it at a vintage market in Tuscany a few months ago, while rummaging through old lace and fabrics. It immediately caught my eye: a honey-colored guinea fabric, a little wrinkled but in just the right way, with two red numbers embroidered in cross-stitch and a delightful hem that made it unique.

I imagined the lady who, many years ago, chose that simple cloth and decided to make it precious by adding a refined trim and her initials. A small gesture that transformed it into something special... and it is precisely this story that now continues in the form of an apron.

The model is typical of Cecibirbona: a wide bodice that opens into two ruffled panels, tied at the hips with bows.

On the front of the skirt, on the sides, there are the BA figures embroidered by hand with red cotton using cross-stitch, and the original trim decorates the two large pockets.

It's practical to put on and take off without having to untie the bows, but if you want, you can tighten it and wear it more snugly, as you can see in the photos.

It's an apron that has the charm of timeless things: youthful and cheerful, but also classic and suitable for all ages. It looks good on a girl, a lady, a grandmother... because it carries with it a simple and universal beauty.

The fit is comfortable and suits all sizes well. I'm wearing it in the photos, and I'm 1.64 m tall.

The fabric is pure vintage cotton from Guinea, and it's a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
