I really like this apron, and it shows how, with a little imagination, you can mix different fabrics to create something special.

The fabrics I used for this beautiful apron come from the vintage markets of Tuscany, which are my usual Sunday destination, as I am always hunting for small, great treasures.

When I cut the fabric to make antique aprons, I always have pieces of beautiful fabric left over that aren't enough to make other aprons, but they are still beautiful, made on looms a long time ago, with natural yarns that are now impossible to find, so it's a shame to throw them away.
So I thought I'd use them to make one of my patchwork aprons, which I love so much.
Well, this apron was born like this…

The various parts that make it up are a beautiful cotton guinea fabric, with its raw and rustic character, and a beautiful linen and hemp fabric that had its beautiful lace as a border and that I used for the pockets.

I think the result of this mix is beautiful and original!

The apron has a wide bodice that continues into two ruffled panels connected at the sides by two bows.

The front panel of the skirt is embellished with two roomy pockets featuring the original lace.

A model that is easy to put on and take off without having to untie the bows.

A youthful, yet classic apron, suitable for all ages.
In fact, it's perfect for a young girl, but also for an adult woman or a grandmother.

The fit is comfortable, making it suitable for all sizes. You see it on me, and I'm 1.64 m tall.

In the photos you can see how to wear it.
