Aprons are now part of me: I wear them every day, not just for cooking but for all household chores.
However, I like to always feel neat and tidy, even when I have friends over for dinner, so the apron has to be beautiful, something I can wear over my clothes like a dress.
This was made from a vintage fabric of medium weight, which was very well preserved and is now increasingly rare to find. An authentic fabric to which I wanted to give a second life.
The model is the classic Cecibirbona style: a bodice that flows into a gathered skirt, side bows for easy adjustment, and two roomy pockets, enhanced by the original edge of the fabric finished with delicate crochet work.
It's worn from the top in a practical way, without having to untie the bows every time, and as you can see in the photos, you can wear it loose or more fitted.
The fit is loose and comfortable, perfect over skirts or trousers, but at the same time feminine and very graceful. Every detail makes it a unique piece.
The fabric is pure vintage cotton with its original lace.
Small stains or slight imperfections are part of its history and tell its story: they are not flaws, but precious marks that make it special.
Hand wash with mild soap or machine wash at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle. It's best not to spin dry and not to leave it to dry in the sun.
One size fits most. In the photos, I'm wearing it; I'm 1.64 m tall.
