Another apron for Cecibirbona's most romantic friends.
Because this apron combines a stunning antique linen fabric, superb embroidery, and perfect drawn-thread work.
All the necessary ingredients to make this kitchen garment extremely precious.

Another wonderful antique fabric in stunning linen from an old trunk belonging to a lady from another era, who lived between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
A beautiful linen of the right thickness and a beautiful natural color.

The front panel of the skirt is embellished with wonderful drawn-thread work, obviously handmade with infinite patience by the embroiderer who must have spent many hours on this fabric. The same drawn-thread work reappears on the two spacious pockets.

The front panel of the skirt features an embroidered monogram in an extremely modern font, unusual for the era. Two capital letters, GR, surmounted by a stylized crown, which makes us think that the woman to whom it belonged was a noblewoman, a hypothesis confirmed by the set of precious elements that this fabric presents.

Below the monogram is a garland of branches, flowers, and leaves embroidered with different stitches… simply wonderful…

Imagine how much time and patience must have been needed to create this beautiful fabric?

It has a wide bodice that continues into two gathered panels connected at the sides by two bows. A comfortable design to put on and take off without needing to untie the bows.

A youthful yet classic apron, of great refinement, suitable for all ages.
A very rich and beautiful apron.

You can see it worn in two different ways, wider or closer to the body, so you can adjust it according to your taste and physique.

Small imperfections, stains, or signs of age do not constitute a defect but bear witness to the past life of this fabric. These are indeed fabrics from the last century, used but in excellent condition, so appreciate every small testament to their age and previous life.
The fabric has a very small mend on the bodice, a minor flaw that you can see in the last photo and which is not a defect, but a small clue to the age of this fabric, which has come to us in excellent condition.

Antique linen fabric with original embroidery.
